Sometimes I think this damn headache is never going to go away.

No new or improved movement. Still have a painful headache.

Tomorrow I return to work. In a way I’m glad because I’ve felt pretty useless just “resting.” In a way I’m not glad because I worry stress may make things worse. Only time will tell.

I have more movement on the left side of the face. Not much, but I’ll take what I can get. I keep worrying that I won’t regain any more movement. Yeah, I’m a worrier.

I’m sick of the pain. Really sick of it. The damn headache won’t go away and the pain in the neck/shoulder has flared up.

Had a headache, pain behind ear/jaw and bout of depression today. Can’t seem to shake any of them.

My wife and I recorded the Iron Bowl and watched it tonight because she had to work today. Roll Tide!

We also watched the 2009 World Magic Awards. I wish they had a Mentalist and a Bizarre Magician category.

Happy Thanksgiving everybody! I hope today finds you doing well and happy.

Today I am thankful for my wife. She has been doing everything she can to help me through this latest adventure in my life and I really appreciate it. Happy Thanksgiving baby, I love you.

Still experiencing pain behind the ear and jaw. Not as much pain to the touch on the face. I think I have a little more movement on the left side of the face but I’m not sure. Could just be my imagination.

No improvement today.

My neck/shoulder isn’t hurting much today but there is a fair amount of pain behind the ear/jaw.

When I went to the neurologist yesterday the pain was in overload mode. My neck and shoulder were killing me. The nuerologist gave me some pain killers to use in moderation.

At this point there is no more medication the doctor can give for the condition. We have reached the “Wait and see” stage of the recovery.

I have definatley regained a little movement on the left side of the mouth.  I was afraid it was just a fluke on day 12 so I haven’t said much about it.

The neurologist wasn’t happy that I haven’t taken any time off to rest. He said a day here or there isn’t going to get it and ordered me to take this whole week off. That leaves work a couple of people short (another guy had taken the week off for vacation) but work will just have to deal with it.

This morning I slept in. Right now I feel better, more rested, than I have since this started.

Off to see the neurologist. Hopefully he can do something about the pain.

I moved the left corner of my mouth ever so slightly yesterday afternoon!
